Peterstown Elementary had an exciting Open House. They can't wait to see all of their students on Thursday ❤️🚌

A few school bus reminders: Bus 218 will travel Green Valley in reverse order in the morning and begin around 7:10 on Peterstown end. Bus 207 will pick up students on Pine Grove in between the Fire Dept and Blue Lick Rd and students on Broyles Cemetery after 7:40am. Any bus questions please email jmcpherson@k12.wv.us.

Please be advised that there will be a mock disaster drill at Peterstown School tomorrow morning beginning at 9am. Traffic will not be stopped but there will be a large police, fire, and emergency management presence in the area near the school.

JMHS will be using GoFan.co for ALL TICKETS for sporting events at James Monroe High School this year. Cash WILL NOT be accepted at the gate. Fans can purchase their tickets by using the following link, https://gofan.co/app/school/WV1180. Fans may also purchase a ticket at the event with a credit card. Please visit the Monroe County Schools website to learn more information.
GoFan.co is a company that caters to the needs of high school sports. It is the largest high school ticketing solution in the United States. They are committed to the success of: exceptional fan experience, turnkey event management and transparent digital finance.
JMHS was lucky enough to use GoFan.co last year during all of our playoff games. It created a streamline process that fans and administration enjoyed. Fans that do not have an eticket may purchase one at the gate with a credit card. A table will be setup for those that need assistance. Not only is it beneficial for our fans. It also will benefit our gate workers and administration. Gate workers and administration must make sure that tickets and money match. They must stay after the games to count both tickets and money. This makes for late nights and long days. JMHS considered raising the cost of the ballgames due to the increase in pay for the officials however, we reconsidered because of the small $1.00 surcharge by the GoFan.co.

Let's honor, Mrs Malory McPherson (Peterstown Middle) and Mr. Todd Lusk (James Monroe Community in Schools) for always going above and beyond for their students--Excellence is Education Award

Mrs Pam Wickline of Mountain View School was awarded this big trophy for showing the most growth on the summative assessment with her students in the county. She has won this award two years in a row. 👏👏
