The STEM Bus will be rolling into Lindside at the Dollar General on Monday, June 23rd. The Big Purple Bus will be there with all kinds of fun activities. Come in out from 10-12 🚌📱💻🕹️

Summer school starts at MVS and Peterstown School on Monday, June 23rd. If you would like for your child to attend and they haven't had a chance to get enrolled, a parent or legal guardian can bring their child to their school to get them enrolled Monday morning.

Monroe County Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day! Everyone have a safe and enjoyable weekend!

MVS LSIC meeting scheduled for today will be rescheduled at a later date.

Mountain View School will be closed Wednesday, May 14, 2025, due to a power outage. This affects Mountain View only.

We are pleased to inform you should be able to see your child’s 2025 West Virginia General Summative Assessment results online within 24 hours after completing the ELA, math, or science tests. Your child’s school will provide information on how to access these scores as students begin testing. Please look for a letter to come home on the following dates:
MVS-May 6
PMS-May 13
PES-May 7

Everyone have a safe and relaxing spring break!


Mountain View Elementary/Middle School is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner to honor local Veterans on April 11, 2025. In correlation with this dinner, they will also host a "Paws for Patriots" event with animals from the Monroe County Animal League and the Greenbrier County Animal Shelter. Pets will be on site, pampered and available for all to enjoy. Pets will also be looking for their forever home if that opportunity presents itself. Come out and enjoy the evening with us!
