Mitchell Stadium

It is a benefit game and cost for admissions will be $8.00.

James Monroe parking Passes will be held on August 8th for seniors and August 9th for Juniors. This is the link for the paperwork if you don't have a copy.

JMHS Cross Country will begin July 31-August 2 from 4:30-6pm at JMHS. Grades 9-12 must have a completed physical and a 2.0 GPA to participate.
Good evening, this is reminder that all Chromebook and chargers have to be returned to the James Monroe Library before school is out. If you are a senior, they should be returned now. If you are an underclassman, they need to be returned after your last exam and juniors who do not have to take exams, the return date is Thursday, May 18th. Lost charger fee is $30 and due at the time the Chromebook is returned.
Attention students: Tomorrow 5/17/2023 is Teen Issues day! We have worked long and hard to make this a fun and exciting experience for each of you and hope to see you attend! There will be important sessions and booths traveled through all day including lunch, see you then!

Attention parents of eleventh grade students, please remember your student must submit proof of their required vaccines, well child within the last 12 months and dental exam in the last 12 months prior to the first day of twelfth grade. You can submit these records at anytime including over the summer. Thank you!

The Monroe County Board approved adding a lawn care program at Monroe County Technical Center for the 2023-2024 school year. Please ask counselors for course registration if you are interested.
Attention high school students and parents: Registration is now open for fall online college courses. The cost of these courses is covered by Monroe County Schools. Please contact the guidance counselors at JMHS to register before these fill up. This is a wonderful opportunity.
Tomorrow - Tuesday - October 18th is PICTURE DAY. All underclassman as well as Senior Drape and Tux pictures will start at 8:30 am and go to about lunch. Underclassman were given picture order forms please submit payment and mark package and return tomorrow. Seniors you will receive a proof package with ordering instructions in about 2 weeks. A make-up picture day will be scheduled soon.

The new Peterstown PK-8 school, has a new American Flag in every classroom. Every single flag placed, was given a military salute. Our community stood behind this project, through Woodmen Life, Private Donations, 50/50 Drawings, Raffles and the 4th of July Picnic. The American Legion Post 145 along with Mrs. Jhanna Lively led the efforts for this project and we are very thankful for their hard work and dedication.
Monroe County Schools would like to send a huge shout out to all those volunteers who came out today to help with the new school playground. You could have been enjoying the state fair today but you chose to spend your time working for others. We greatly appreciate it and would like to thank the following businesses:
